I have
been a musician since 1982. At the beginning I worked as a dance
musician but finally I ended up playing jazz. Today I get to sing
to my heart's content the jazz I love.
Our repertoire consists of jazz standard
tunes from throughout the 20th century and the songs of our latest recording
Gilda & Jazztet, which
was released on the 5th October by my own company Gilda
Galleria.
We have been touring jazz festivals, such as
Kaamosjazz, Ylläs Jazz & Blues, Kouvolan Dixiepäivät,
Varanger-festival (Norway), Imatra Big Band Festival,
Linnajazz, Tyykijazz, Otava Happy Jazz,
Ruskaswing...We also perform in clubs and private events and
parties.
